“Just In Time” for Judy Garland’s 100th birthday, The Garland Variations brings an authentic-yet-fresh take on Judy Garland’s musical artistry and the experiences that shaped this once-in-500-years talent, from her early days in Hollywood to her Carnegie Hall and television triumphs. Songstress and pianist Joan Ellison is joined by cellist Nora Willauer for an intimate concert experience that includes “The Trolley Song,” “Just in Time,” “If Love Were All,” “The Boy Next Door,” “By Myself,” “The Man That Got Away,” “Get Happy,” a medley of Gershwin songs from Girl Crazy, and, of course, “Over the Rainbow.”
